makes no sense in context what you saying

Yeah, I think “beyond Armament” refers to ACoC coating.
It’s what he’s generally trying to achieve with his Conqueror’s Haki. He’s using it unconsciously but hasn’t realized that he’s actually unlocked it, so he assumes his Armament Haki has just gotten incredibly strong. I could be wrong, though.
