Worst idea ever.

Your giving mechanisms for even greater cancel culture and government retaliation.

Anonymity is worth the cost
We can maintain anonymity on forums etc but what is the justification for anonymity on social media? Why should people be allowed to go unpunished when they spread lies or speak ill of specific individuals?

I remember the covid period and all the conspiracy theories on social media.

I don’t care if you believe that some people want to implant a chip in you and control you but if you’re so sure, why are you so afraid to speak openly about it, using your own name?

You say that X/Y politician is a scumbag (he probably is) but do you have any proof or are you just spreading misinformation on social media while hiding behind a nickname?

BS on social was fun 15 years ago but now things are getting out of hand with all these lunatics roaming freely online.

This is too much for something Mbappe didn't even do

Chinese social media app Xiaohongshu had meanwhile frozen Mbappe’s account

The same was done on the Weibo app, with a notice stating that “the user has been banned from following due to violating laws or the Weibo Community Convention”.

Chinese beverage giant Dongpeng, which during this year’s World Cup ran advertisements with AI-generated images of Mbappe, said on Tuesday it had scrapped its partnership with the player, as did dairy firms Mengniu and Milkground.

CMG, which oversees public broadcaster CCTV, said it had decided to suspend broadcasts of the world’s second-richest football league after England’s Premier League.

Interestingly, Mbappe was winning the B'Dor until the last one or two days. Kane took the lead at the very end. So.....
