Powers & Abilities The coating aspect of "ACoC" is completely trivial. It got overrated because of Luffy.

My point is the coating aspect of it is trivial (as long as it's not ACoA). ACoC difficulty is basically 99% CoC, and 1% coating. "The chosen one" shit is what CoC is. It was shown since Marineford.

The "advanced" nomer really came from Luffy thinking of Rayleigh's ACoA Haki blasts.

But basic coating is something even Mid Tiers can do.
You are conflating CoA Emission and CoC Infusion.

Emission is a technique can be learned by anyone with Haki and skill.

Infussion can only be learned by Conqueror's, and by Kaido's estimation a mark for superiority. Evidently, mastery over it is more intuitive than Armament.

That is in line with the more spiritual framing of Conqueror's Haki compared to Armament, which is described as an invisible suit of armour.

Pretty much everything you said was true

and it doesn't change the fact that Doffy and Katakuri canonically don't have it, and it makes zero sense. The only upside is that Doffy using ACOC would be the least asthetic thing I've said in my life
No one canonically had it before Roger/Whitebeard clash. It's pointless to speculate, when even the Yonko didn't show it.

The wording is exactly the same. I checked the Japanese. Read what Sanji said: It's "like a stronger Armament". On a technical level, it's just the ability to wrap Haki around you, whether it's CoA or CoC.

It only becomes "advanced", when you start doing stuff like this, and it's like a Kamehameha blast

The Yonko had limited screentime besides Whitebeard who probably couldn't use it anymore or whatever. Doffy and Katakuri went all out and had the main fights/contributions to the story before Wano. So it's pretty much canon they didn't have it.

It's confirmed that they're using it during a skysplit. This is literally where we see it for the first time

To me this is the same shit as CoA. Crocodile, Smoker and Ace should've shown it in Alabasta. But we see the story through Luffy's eyes, and if he doesn't have we don't see it.

Same reason why in MF we never see the black Haki coating.

The Colours are distinct from another for a reason.

Your are seeing equivalence where you see similarity. That just isn't the case.

Why didn’t boa show it in her fight with Blackbeard?

Did we even see her attack? We just saw BB's hand on her neck, weakening her.

I'm more thinking of Don Chinjao as the most obvious example. There is no way Prime Garp was training to fight this guy, and struggling if Chinjao didn't have ACoC

But against Luffy we didn't see it at all.
Boa used perfume femur oda didn’t show any signs of CoC coating.

Luffy a CoC prodigy fought with a mastery of CoC for 2 years before learning coating was possible after he got hit by it for the first time. Meaning katakuri nor Doffy hit him with CoC infused attacks.

I'm not disagreeing on the fact that Oda added new things in the story overtime. The fact that Ace, a character who was barely in the story at the time didn't show haki doesn't really change the fact that the majority of pre TS characters didn't have armament haki, even though everyone can in theory use it. Ace is just an obvious exception. It's not necessarily explained why Haki is so secretive in paradise, but it's just how it is

Same follows with COC-ACOC

Why would perfume femur use CoC coating? It's literally turning horny people into stone.
