Voting "after Imu arrival" only because of Sanji's CoC reveal. Overall I agree that pre-Imu Elbaph was a lot more interesting.

It is! In the beginning of Egghead I also liked it, but the traitor plot was very annoying to me.

Elbaph is the most consistently good post-TS arc, even if it is dragging a little, it's mostly because of the weekly reading and unfortunate placement of flashbacks.
Looking forward to re-reading the whole thing once it concludes, I bet it's going to look a lot better.

Xebec piece is pinnacle of One Piece manga . Introduction of Loki and Elbaf island in general has been great. So pre Imu arrival easily.

Before Imu came, the arc lacked a "main bad guy".
And the 3 knights were cool, but they didn't have the same feeling as someone like Kaido did in Wano, or Doflamingo did in Dressrosa.
Imu was needed in this arc, and made it better.

People try to deny it but it’s true Elbaf is Somewhat slow /Boring early on . You go nearly 15 chapters without any real conflict to start the arc.And It Takes The Monster Trio 25 chapters to notice the conflict that’s going on. Which is a lot longer than usual.

I like Im's reveal, I personally don't understand the criticism. Cool powers, interesting apparent weakness to the lower realm and he buffs the other guys.

Early chapters of Elbaf were not good, starting off in a dollhouse for... what reason again? I forgot... probably because the reason sucked. And it wasn't nice to learn that the giants gave up on being warriors and are officially bums.

But now we have a legitimate threat on the island, plus Gaban got a very cool chapter injuring Im. Obviously admirals aren't going to cut it as world government villains anymore so this was a natural progression.

Would be nice to see giants do something though, they are getting the samurai treatment in that they were hyped as game breaking soldiers but it turns out they're just mid apart from Loki.
