I checked the raws briefly and from what I see I can conclude this haki argument with two hypothesis:
1) Armament haki have a maximum cap. Sanji in this chapter probably reached that max cap level and at that point the coating was not armament anymore but supreme king haki.
2) Sanji was already using supreme king haki coating since the beginning of this chapter. In fact he felt that his armament haki was at the top level and even when defending he did damage to the spear but in reality it was already supreme king haki.

Sorry but I don't get it. The main point of this chapter is that "Defence power" and "Attack power" are always overlapping. In Sanji's case if he harden his leg with supreme king haki he will boost his defence stat and attack stat at the same time. If your weapon (or in this case leg) is more sturdy it will not break (more defence stat) and when you attack with it will do more damage (more attack stat) because it's still hard as hell.
So Sanji can use it as a boost to attack power.

Zoro is an offensive fighter. He uses his projection Haki, CoC and Enma to amplify his cutting power. His fighting style is centered on offense for powerful, destructive slashes.
Sanji makes his leg harder increasing his defense, which overlaps into better offense because his legs are harder than steel on top of hotter flames.
Thats what I mean't there and what i assume Oda is going for when Sanji says "I will be Luffy's shield and Zoro you be his sword"

I get it, even tho I don't like to classify them into fixed class like "offensive fighter" and "defensive fighter".
By the way the last chapter made me remember how odd I felt since Oda showed us what's the specialty of monster trio in haki.
I always thought that Sanji would benefit more from armament haki than observation because fighting without weapons make your entire body your weapon and you need to preserve it.
At the same time Zoro would benefit more from observation because he uses swords as weapons and he blocks attacks with them so armament should be less of a priority for him.

We tbf, I was referring to haki usage specifically since they are technically both offensive fighters lol.
Agreed, honestly its ironic since you wouldve atleast expected Sanji to get FS before Luffy did given his affinity for CoO. I think Oda just dropped the specialities idea after WCI.
Zoro shouldve been good at both tbh. Armanment being essential to make sure your blades stay at top quality makes sense as well as good CoO block attacks.

Like I said in your thread, IMO he only showed CoC at the last page, the trajectory of his kick breaking Omen amor is different than some pages before (Sanjis kicks using Ifrit have never been drawn like that before), so before the last page it was all CoA (subcounscious CoC usage at best)
Pages 2, 3 and 12 the kick is more "raw" (iirc Oda never drew Sanjis kicks like that), so Im assuming its all CoA, specially since he breaks Longinus on pages 4 and 13.
On the other hand, Sanjis CoC awakening is in page 14 and conscious usage on page 15 (the kick is more "clean" now).
There's no new flame this chapter, it was all haki from start to finish
