This is a story: dialogues are written for a reason and used to drop hints.

Yeah it's a story, where characters are written to be more than mouths for the author. They are part of an imagined world, they have personalities and are limited in what they know.

Because it wouldn't make any sense for a super secondary character (among others) to possess one of the strongest powers in OP while the Final Villain (or pseudo-FV at worst) doesn't; especially when said character is betting on him to surpass everyone, while explicitly stating that you need to be a Conqueror to do so?
But tbh, you could take almost anyone and it still wouldn't make sense for them to have it instead of BB.
Because it was another case of refusing to look at the actual scene just because the agenda was against it.

Blackbeard has two of the strongest devil fruits in the verse, he is already an outlier, he does not need CoC necessarily to be final villain or penultimate villain.
Aokiji and the Admirals are not Gaban, they are CoCless and have had more opportunities than any other secondary character in the verse to show it and still nothing.

1) Similarity in personality - Lafitte looks like a gentleman while Sanji also carries himself like one (well atleast in front of women)
2) Similarity in fighting style - kick boxer. Lafitte has wings and Sanji can skywalk so aerial matchup. Lafitte also appears to be agile and speed based fighter.
3) Stealth - Lafitte sneaked into the warlord meeting. Sanji is known for stealth and strategy.
4) Physique - both have slim built with long legs.
5) Role - Lafitte is chief of staff and it's similar to having a commander/ wing status.
