Powers & Abilities Loki still has an awakened form up his sleeve?

This may or may not be a mistranslation

But this is referred to as the “second hybrid form”. This seems to suggest there is another hybrid form we are yet to see.

My guess is that Loki has an awakening he is yet to reveal. Given how destructive his DF is, he is likely hesitant to use it, as he knows if he loses control he could destroy everything.

This could possibly be why Shanks vs Loki happened. Loki used awakening, lost control, and Shanks needed to stop him.

I think Loki will use it and lose control, giving us a true Nika and Nidhogg vs Imu fight.

I doubt shanks stopped a berserker awakened loki

Would make no sense

Loki didn’t even start using hybrid against Imu until now and he thinks Imus the strongest guy he’s ever met.

Loki probably underestimated shanks when they fought and only used his base form.

Well, since Loki still doesn't have a Awakening Ribbon around him, we still haven't seen him Awaken his Fruit yet. If he even has, before this. Maybe being pushed this far by Imu will finally get him to unlock his Awakening?

Although, there is a panel in Chapter 1170 that looks like Loki's "First Hybrid Form" may have had a Awakening Ribbon around him, but it's hard to say.

(Chapter 1170)

Is that just fire in the foreground, or is that part of a Awakening Ribbon? It's very curiously shaped fire, at least.

Maybe the idea is that because Loki is still partially hiding his face, he still isn't at his most "free"? He's taken off his blindfold, but he's still partially hiding his face with his helmet. Maybe he can only unlock his true power when he finally shows his face to all of Elbaph? Special eyes and all.

Or maybe the reason Loki isn't using his First Hybrid Form is because he still has some trauma from killing Harald?

So, yeah, Oda still seems to be hiding this "Dragon-headed" First Hybrid Form from us, the one that Loki used to fight Harald. He sure is taking his time building this up, for some reason.

Holy shit good job pointing that out

a big theme this arc is about “understanding yourself”

Luffy needs to understand that he’s the next nika, zoro needed understand that he has acoc, sanji needed to understand people care about him and he should love himself more instead of putting his body on the line alit

now for last but not least Loki needs to love hismelf and take the blindfold off, Loki may show a tough macho outer appearance but his mom doing what she did to him as a baby really did fuck him up mentally (as it would anyone)

that is some incredible writing from Oda if this is true.

Then why did Law pull up with awakening against Blackbeard?
There was no need of awakening on rooftop cuz it was 2v5. They were managing somehow.
Moment it turned 1v2, they resorted awakening.
Vs. Blackbeard he had a better grasp on it. I think it was something like

Punk Hazard/Dressrosa -> ??? Maybe had brief flashes of it, but nothing he could use in battle.
Wano -> Could use it in battle as a last resort
Blackbeard -> Good handle of it

Awakening is meant to drain you, a better grasp doesn't equate to extra stamina on the second use.
PH/DR? Wasn't he confirmed to get awakening post Dressrosa?
Wano, Rooftop didn't require it. Post rooftop everyone on rooftop bar killer got a buff.

And If loki still pulls up, I'm calling that bullshit. It's already been what? 3 times?
