Xione@Cinera He slowed her down by pouring ocean water on her , which allowed him to lay the Vagabond drill on her, and pushed her back. That's about it. He doesn't have a hax that's hard to dodge, instead he has a hax that bypasses somebody's toughness on the outside. Just different type of a hax.

critical mindset@Cinera I just watched the anime of Mihawk slashing up that mountain at Marineford and honestly I'm not the least but impressed by Mihawk's feat. The watershot Hody Jones delivered pierced through kilometers littered with bedrock formations, and Jimbei had to use much more power than Hody's to stop it down to nothing instantaneously. Pound for pound the watershot delivers way more power output than Yor's slash
Elder Lee HungDon’t know how you gathered that jinbe was on par with Pre Gear 4 luffy lol @Xione , because jinbe blasted luffy into the sky while luffy couldn’t make him budge?
XioneWhat you're referring to "Shark brick fist" is literally what happened with Luffy this chapter. He stood there like an idiot looking at Jinbei expecting an attack to come, but didn't know the waves could get him like that. That's pretty much, just another hax jinbei can exploit if the enemy doesn't have knowledge on his abilities.
XioneBut did luffy take much damage from it? No sir. Rather after that he hits Jinbei with a mere Jet Stamp, and gives him damage on his forearms that looks like Jinbei's been through a 5 day fight lol: https://i.gyazo.com/b04541d68c86dc062f54ead842d27766.png
FinalbetaG4 has always been YC1+ since DR with no time limits so that depends on whether or not time limit is being taken into account
Cinera@critical mindset you are wrong on this, but I'm tired of this debate, so I'm going to do a wanked calculation right now.
I'm going to highball the fuck out of the watershot and assume it was released at mach 100 (it was much slower). Based on the size of it, it's less than 5 grams, but I would assume it's 5 grams to again highball it.
Mass = 0.005kg
Velocity = 3.43e4m/s
CineraKinetic Energy = 1/2 mv^2.
KE = 0.5 * 0.005 * (3.43e4)^2
KE = 0.5 * 0.005 * 1.17649e9
KE = 2.941225e6 joules.
Convert to kilotons of TNT: 7.03 e-7
Total kinetic energy of hyper wanked Hody's water shot is 0.000000703 Kilotons of TNT.
CineraMihawk's Yoru Slash was a few *megatons* of TNT.
Mihawk's Yoru slash required more than _10 orders of magnitude_ more energy than Hody's water shot.
Yes the watershot was impressive, but no it was not even in the same world as the iceberg slash.
CineraAgain, you're comparing a mere bullet (force applied to a very small object) to bisecting a mountain sized iceberg and lifting it several hundred metres. It's not surprising that they wouldn't be in the same world.
Elder Lee Hung@Xione dumb argument When jinbe clearly looked superior to luffy lol, Jinbe blasted luffy into the sky with basic fishman karate And injured him, but luffy looked = to him because of some scuff marks? Nah bro, Jinbe looked superior to luffy right there. Jinbe even says “is this all you’ve learned after 2 years?” My guy was unimpressed.
Xione@Admiral Lee Hung Not sure where you saw Jinbei looking superior. Maybe in the same sense Whitebeard looked superior to Sakazuki for landing a clean cheapshot? idk.
Right Jinbei should question it, because it only burnt up his arms and didn't do solid damage to him, where as he did hardly any damage to Luffy despite a free shot. Then both were rushing at each other and their attacks did equal damage on Sanji.
XioneNeither showed any superiority, that's why I didn't say Luffy looked superior to Jinbei.
Elder Lee HungThis isn’t like Whitebeard giving Akainu a bloody nose from behind while Akainu turns around and blows WB’s head off in return, this is Jinbe blasting luffy off into the sky with basic fishman karate, actually injuring him, and the best luffy can do is leave jinbe some scuff marks while jinbe expresses disappointment with Luffy’s strength. Jinbe for sure looked better than luffy there (though gear 4 is stronger)
XioneExaggerating the feat isn't going to make it any more impressive. He used one of his named attacks (ain't nothing basic about that) on a luffy that just looked right at him rather than defending himself, samething that happened in chapter 980. Result? Luffy got pushed back couple feet (idk where you're getting the blasting him off to the sky from), then luffy shrugs it off like nothing happened.
XioneSo you have a guy who put serious damage on the other's forearms because he tried to block the attack vs a guy who had a free shot at the other guy and could do no noticeable damage? Both using named attacks.
Some scruff marks? More like the entire damn forearms.
Exactly what makes Jinbei superior here? Cause I'm not even claiming superiority for one or the other. I said they were on par.
Cinera@Admiral Lee Hung FWIW, my impressions from the FI scene was that Jinbe was portrayed comparably to G2/G3 Luffy then.

critical mindsetI thought this Tsar Bomba thing was a joke but clearly it isnt. Mhawk's slash being a few megatons is utterly absurd. thats on the level of thermonuclear and atomic bombs like wtf :D Is this another clown calculation again like last time? How do you guys come up witht these numbers?
Cinera@critical mindset Zoro's ISDS was calculated at requiring more energy than Tsar Bomba.
Lifting several billion tonnes of rock several hundred metres into the sky requires megatons of force.
CineraI can link you to conservative calculations if you want.
