Well he is 1.5 in my opinion so he would surpass Katakuri by a decent amount but still get dumped badly by Base Kaido :DD

@TheAncientCenturion: their fighting styles are too different IMO. FS should put Doffy in the high high tier category. Kata's COA will still be stronger, but Doffy's awakening might be superior. Doffy is also more tanky (due to his natural endurance and DF aided recovery abilities).

Stronger than Katakuri. Luffy with FS surpassed Katakuri and pre FS Luffy was below Doffy.

Canonically Luffy surpassed Katakuri but there were lots of decisive factors which would have easily decided the outcome of the fight in Kata's favour if it wasn't for 1.) Brulee, 2.) Katakuri inflicting the same Mogura wound, 3.) Katakuri not allowing Luffy to use Snake Man.

@comrade True, but this wound damaged Kata arguably more than Luffy since Katakuri wasn't quite used taking any hits for several years. It just means Luffy can endure more damage although Katakuri equalised at least the Mogura wound. And yes, Katakuri's wound was the same like Luffy; Kata even pointed it out plus the exact similarities between these wounds although Oda executed it quite poorly.

Luffy could take lots of hits but it was made clear that Luffy reached if not even surpassed his limits on the 9th hour when fighting Katakuri. He only had enough power for Snake Man in which he had an all out battle for 30 minutes. It is questionable whether Luffy could endure more hours if Kata did not allow him to use Snake Man.

@Finalbeta Kata without FS is weak since FS IS his fighting style. He entirely loses his compusture without it and makes dumb decisions; ie. trying to block the second Kong Gun again although he should have known that this punch is simply too powerful.
Take Kata's hardening away and he's still strong. Take his FS away and even Cracker could defeat him.

How it is certain that Doflamingo's FS is as fitting as Kata's FS? If that Apoo instances is really legit, then Luffy still only uses his FS circumstantial, not like Kata. Hence it is debatable whether FS is as useful for DD as Katakuri.

On the other hand, forget that, FS would be definitely more useful for DD than Luffy, that's certain.
