In fact even the Calamities didn't really show their haki skills and Jack was given one of the very worst zoan hybrid forms alongside Black Maria's when Oda could most surely have given better looking and more impressive hybrid forms to them.

The plot was just too strong against them, while the Straw Hats + allies were favored and protected too much by it.

Yes, plot power reigns supreme. What is even worse is that actually Oda could have taken 2 birds with one stone by making the flying6/veterans go all out vs SHs that actually had something to show haki wise and not just Usopp unlocking coo and then never ever talk about haki among weaker SHs and so having a laughable yonko crew.
