So far Katakuri has more hype than King as the perfect undefeated human who has FS, something that, according to Rayleigh only some of those who are among the strongest can do. While Marco seems to have hype that is a bit higher due to being Whitebeard's right hand man.

I don't consider Katakuri's "undefeated man" hype very credible. East Blue Zoro was undefeated and oneshot all his opponents. Katakuri was bested by another high tier. I expect King to also have an advanced form of haki. If he does not, then I'll place Kata above.

Well, except that Katakuri is the right hand man of a Yonko, located in the new world, and being said to have a legendary undefeated record. When Katakuri regained his FS, Luffy could not even lay hand on him, with Katakuri just counter attacking and saying he is invincible with FS.

Sure, I agree that Katakuri has an undefeated record, but he doesn't appear to have triumphed over other high high tiers. In his first known confrontation with a mid high tier (albeit one who evolved during the fight) he was quickly bested. Katakuri probably hasn't faced anyone of King's calibre (especially given that no one had dodged him as much as Luffy had or dealt damage in a very long time).

Well, to be fair all what Luffy was good at dodging, was his Mogura, which is very linear. But when Katakuri went in with kicks and punches, Luffy had no chance of dodging. Even in G4, Luffy couldn't dodge power mochi and was being sent flying into the wall, while Katakuri was comfortably dodging boundman's attacks.
