@Cinera answer me this: if Kaido proves himself unable to consistently land hits on luffy in the future, and given that luffy has had no speed increases since his fight with Kaido: will you concede that Kaido just got a lucky shot in given that luffy will easily be capable of dodging him from here on out?

Because I can almost guarantee you that luffy vs Kaido will involve luffy dodging a majority of Kaido’s attacks. If what you’ve said so far is true, then luffy should need another speed power up to fight Kaido and I can almost guarantee you that he won’t get one.

@Admiral Lee Hung: If Luffy has a 1 vs 1 encounter with Kaido and is able to reliably and consistently dodge Kaido's attacks without any speed boost (e.g Snakeman), then I would consider Luffy losing his FS a bigger nerf than I did previously.

I don't think it changes the fight from a low diff, it just raises the level of low difficulty. Prior to learning Advanced COA, Luffy had no way to harm Kaido. Kaido would have eventually landed that "lucky hit" that oneshots Luffy while Luffy was completely unable to harm him.

@Cinera I think you should prepare to concede then tbh lol, Luffy has always been a heavily dodge-reliant fighter. The only fights in OP where luffy wasn’t consistently dodging his opponents were Enel and Katakuri lol. If Oda doesn’t give luffy another speed powerful, Luffy is about to be tap dancing around Kaido’s offense.

@ShishioIsBack tbh I think that Jinbe was only sweating for the same reason Akainu sweated against shanks, he was just shocked to see Rayleigh lol. He had no idea Rayleigh was about to show up or that Rayleigh even knew luffy.

No lmao, Akainu was sweating because Shanks came to thwart his plans and he had it easy so far after killing WB and he was bout to execute WB's entire crew but now he can potentially be in a situation where he has to potentially face a Yonko and his crew.
Kizaru was also shocked that Rayleigh appeared to stop him, but its not like he was sweating with his mouth open wide.

This is basically why I'm so insistent it was a low difficulty. Even if Kaido's first attack was avoided due to FS, he'll eventually land an attack, and when he does Luffy goes down. Luffy on the other hand (no matter how many attacks he landed) would be unable to damage Kaido. I mean if Luffy could stall for hours due to FS, then it's no longer a low diff, but I don't expect FS to make that big a difference.
