I get why people find Putrescent Knight annoying at first, but your 2nd and up attempts? No, lol.
He’s not just difficult for the sake of being difficult, his entire design is a masterclass in control and pressure. He’s one of the few Souls bosses who doesn’t just challenge your reaction time or punish greed. He actively dictates the flow of the fight.

His moveset is tailored to push you back, shut down your spacing, and punish you for trying to brute force your way in. His health and poise are purposely low because his aggression to keep you away is all he's got.
Once I stopped trying to fight him like every other boss and started treating him like a puzzle of control, everything clicked.
He's definitely a unique gigachad boss once understood.
