Yeah I had these issues myself. My honest suspicion is it relates to the core Bogard recently added to the site to discourage bots.

I’ll bring it up to Bogard that it’s a widespread problem—though he’s always busy. So I hope it’s a quick fix, it might be a month.

Use IMGBB - it's faster and works perfectly fine
