RebornSanji isn't a misogynist. He doesn't devalues women. Infact, his code proves otherwise.
He's pervert and sexist though.
A case for him being misandrist (even this isn't true as well ) is stronger than him being a misogynist.
BleakAshHow are you defining being a sexist here.. sexism against women is synonyms with misogyny right?
Or do you mean against men?
I guess? 😂
@Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier
I think its brute natural fact that women are gentler than men, more easygoing, easier to approach etc etc but how does that qualify misogyny?
If a man out of his radical, extreme obsession with preserving women and not hurting them
BleakAshAnd doesn't wanna hurt them then how does that even begin to resemble misogyny
Sexism here being irrationally discriminating between the sexes that leads to a lesser opinion of the female sex no?
Or are you taking sexism to be denying that Men an women are equal is any way
Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplierbigotry isn't one specific thing yknow
it's anything that leads to an irrational and potentially harmful view of a group
BleakAsh@Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier but then relative to him... Almost every woman has been weaker except for BM. It just happens to be the case so sanji knows that he can easily dominate his female opponent and chooses not to because of his code.
Sanji wouldn't hurt a woman whether she is stronger or weaker.
And why is it mysoginistic to say that almost every female opponent he has faces is inherently weaker? Bar BM
Sanji has traits of sexist because - He has different code for men and for women. He refuses to fight women solely because they are women. He feels women should be protected by men. Those are sex / gender based double standards.
He is not misogynistic because he doesn't hate / devalues women neither thinks they are inferior.
Oda is drawing and depicting women like actual women, being gentle, and feminine etc. To say that sanji is a misogynist because he acknowledges that and has this radical favoritism for women over men and understands that the vast majority of the women he will be facing are weaker than him so he doesn't hurt them because of his code
How does that qualify bigotry & irrationality?
Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplier"Oda is drawing and depicting women like actual women" bleak you're a cool guy/woman/person/etc. but you and me both know oda is one of the most misogynistic mangakas lol
very rarely has he ever depicted women realistically
BleakAsh@Reborn.. I understand but i sexism always has negative mysoginistic connotations when used to describe treatment of women
Not trying to argue semantics here but that's new to me.
How does that qualify bigotry andirrational ideas harmful to the group and misogyny
What behavior or ideas like we discussed sanji has that would harm women right?
Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplierhe'd rather let them try and kill his friends than just hit them
how is that anything but harmful to everyone involved
BleakAshWe are talking about women here right? that he has mysoginistic aspects and you said that it leads to harmful view of a group.. That being women right?
I'm asking how is that the case?
I already agree that his code is radical and sabotages his safety and his crew's
But how do you deduce harm to women form that if that's what you mean
Reborn@BleakAsh that's a misconception due to everyday conversation we have in our society.
If I have to be more precise then Sanji doesn't look down on women or see them as inferior or hate them.
He idolizes them and treats them specially way more than he should evident from him not fighting women at any cost. He's a benevolent sexist and a pervert for obvious reasons lol
Monster Zoro's Tesla Supplieraids to the belief that women are soft angels that should never ever be hurt in any way
i'm not saying you should beat the fuck out of a woman just for looking at you wrong but there are definitely some moments where you unfortunately will have to put hands on her
denying that is inherently bigoted, again there's no reason you can beat up a man that's actively trying to kill you but not a woman
