TAC- so you accept that bounty is generally not a mark for strength? So then the argument is moot. Sure Luffy referenced Kuri's bounty, Luffy had never faced someone with a bounty that high. That doesn't mean Luffy was equating every person with a bounty near 1 billion lol. Luffy still to this day has never even laid eyes on Jack.

Yes. Because like I said, Luffy has never faced anyone with a 1 billion berry bounty before. It *was* special to him. That doesn't mean if Luffy lays eyes on Jack, he'll be like "oh wow, 1 billion. He's likely as strong as Katakuri." Oven and Daifuku have the same bounties as pre-timeskip Luffy, but how do you think Luffy would fair if he fought either of them?

If Jack can cling to his consciousness after a 35,000m elephant swings his trunk, then Kata’s Mochi Thrust ain’t gonna do nothing. The gulf in between is that vast. Kata’s lethality wasn’t significant enough to make Luffy drop, which if applied with enough force he would have. Luffy’s rubber can save Kata’s face when it comes to blunt damage, but there is no excuse as to why a clean hit can’t put Luffy down.

Jack’s durability to lethal damage >>> Luffy; remove Luffy’s rubber and he is a strong kid but nothing compared to Jack’s durability and he would die on the spot when hit with that trunk. Mochi Thrust will probably not to that much to Jack tbh, tickle him a little, and that will leave him open for attack. I only think Kata wins by stalling and playing cat and mouse tricks on him to overwhelm him with trickiness

The gulf between McGregor and and a 3 year old girl is still far less than between Shunisha and base Kata with his Mole. Zoro can one-shot FBH Pica with ISDS, even one-shot Killer, people with strikes that are of far less calibre than ISDS, there’s no excuse for Kata’s lethality to not put down jaded Luffy. It’s not about a Luffy’s willpower being so massive. Ace had more, and Akainu no-sold it with magma

Katakuri did put Luffy down. Multiple times. Luffy just kept getting back up. Akainu has a DF advantage > Ace, incomparable situation lol.

and the point of McGregor vs the 3 year old Girl is to show that excessive AP doesn't always mean anything when compared to lethality, unless you mean to tell me that Shutenmaru has greater AP than Zunisha which is objective lunacy.

No matter how you slice it, Shutenmaru refutes the entire Zunisha argument. He is a character with no strength boosting DF (like Kuri has) and yet he was still able to slice Jack up, through his guard. Katakuri will molest Jack with Mogura, there is no argument.

Is it confirmed that he doesn’t have a df? I mean I hate his fatass design, but gotta give it to him, and in truth there probably is a reason for why he could leverage that striking feat, a df most certainly. Kata has so many skills with his df and FS outside of his skills with his spear, and Shutenmaru did that so yes, Shutenmaru’s lethality>Kata, hopefully by some logical explanation as in df bc his design is trash
