It seems many people hate Katakuri here unlike OJ. They need to praise our mochi boi more, he's hella strong and only because he lost to Luffy doesn't mean he is weak.

Well they just can't handle Katakuri's badassery and want to believe that the first YC1 fought by Luffy would be the weakest, ignoring that the YC1 wouldn't be Luffy's opponents anymore after Katakuri and that it would the yonkos and admirals instead.

The problem here is, many people heavily underestimate Katakuri's strength but in fact that guy has G2+ casual attacks, named attacks such as Block Mochi are comparable to Snake Man and G3, his G3 moves easily overpowered Luffy's G3, his Power Mochi deflected a Kong Gun, that is a good physical strength feat since I doubt weaker characters like Sanji could deflect a Kong Gun like that as well.
