I think it will be a very long time until we see our standard of life back. I should have power back as soon as today or at the latest Thursday night but I'm lucky I run off the grid in the north. The majority of the parish runs off the grid that comes out of lake charles and it was completely destroyed and they are looking at months. Decent water will take longer for all of us.

We are doing ok. I'm capable of making trips out of town. Everyone is trying to pull together and make sure people have access to hot plates and bottled water.
