It's because several YC level characters with broken Haki couldn't replicate the same feat Oden used on Kaido.

Sulong Neko alone is Katakuri's equal, S Neko+Ashura+Denjiro combined are so much weaker than Oden that they can't even open up Kaido's wound, While Oden gave Kaido a permanent scar

Well it is a top tier feat if you look at latest chapter. 5 to 6 top tiers combined their power and attacked Kaido to which Kaido said the attack is trash and couldn't even open his wound and "There will never be a samurai as monstrous as Oden"

I'd say some of the characters whose combined power couldn't even open Kaidos wound made by Oden are just as strong if not stronger than Katakuri like Sulong Dukes (either would mid/high diff Katakuri) or Denjiro who is roughly Katakuri level.

Well imo he seems like the strongest of scabbards and I think if Oden was alive he'd be the rhm.
So I guess Kawamatsu is YC3 Ashura YC2 and Denjiro YC1 level @Shuyaku
