Kuma hated the WG yet he still gave them his loyalty and life. Makes you wonder what kind of dirt or ultimatum the WG gave him. They could have a "Do what we tell you or allies/Luffy dies" grip over him.

That’s plausible actually, makes more sense then the story trying to make us think Sabo died. And that could also explain the people at Fooshia island’s reaction since they will only see Sabo working for the people that killed Ace

Exactly. Oda already did the brother gets captured part and Ivankov said "I dont believe it! This is SABO we're talking about!", implying Sabo did something that's completely unlike him.
