Cinera@Admiral Lee Hung: that's very reasonable. My biases are known, but we can both agree that Katakuri needs to land over a dozen attacks on Zoro (Zoro can parry or cut through Mogura), while Zoro only needs to land that one hit.
CineraFuture Sight, Shapeshifting and Snakeman speed can help the Dawgtooth avoid Zoro's offense, but do you really want to bet that during the several hours Katakuri would need to put Zoro down, he will never get the chance to land one of his upper tier techniques? Even for Goatakuri that's a bit too much to ask.
Elder Lee Hung@Cinera quite frankly unless Katakuri intentionally drops his guard, Zoro isn’t landing any hits on him. He doesn’t really “make mistakes” when FS is active so he would need to intentionally give Zoro and opening and I don’t see that happening. And his attacks are all extremely difficult to dodge or block due to FS but I’m sure Zoro would still put up a solid fight regardless
LANJI CUCKSMOKENot just katakuri
shiryu
in terms of high tiers ofc
the challenge ffor him moving foward will be actually hitting his target and those guys will be a lot harder to tag than kaido .
also something I wanted to mention, enma forces the wielder to release a good amount of ryou, you could say zoro could duplicate the same thing with his other swords.
release the exact same amount of ryou he does with enma with his wado for example which happens to be the exact same calibre of blade enma is and the effect should be the same .
brief clash with roger and wb , you could see the absurd amount of ryou put into just one attack but they were obviously devastating
for that his stamina will improve.
Cinera@Admiral Lee Hung: I don't think Zoro's attacks are that easy to dodge even with FS due to AOE.
Cinera@LANJI CUCKSMOKE: Zoro could deflect invisible slashes, I'm not sure how much trouble ordinary invisibility grants him.
Elder Lee HungIs there any evidence whatsoever that Katakuri would have trouble dodging AOE?
LANJI CUCKSMOKEfor current zoro they are
if kaido's dumbass can and kaido is a pretty big target especially in that dragon form
not fast either
katakuri very well should move way out of place before he does .
he needs to get very comfortable with using the blade first
am sure that disrupts him as well.
Not all of Zoro's attacks are as slow as Hiryuu Kaen was.
Iai techniques have insane attack speed. Zoro blitzed Apoo mid Drake attack and Big Mom mid Prometheus attack from several dozen metres away.
CineraIai techniques have very high attack potency and insane attack speed. They're an ideal OHKO technique for normal human sized opponents. Dragon Kaido is a bit too massive though.
Cinera@Admiral Lee Hung: he dealt with it yeah, but not by shapeshifting around it. When Luffy grabbed him, Katakuri also admitted that he couldn't escape.
CineraAt the very least we've not seen Kata shapeshifting around large AOE, and given G3 I'm not about to grant it to him.
LANJI CUCKSMOKEin the hypothetical scenario that it lands
zoro wins no doubt cause he is essentially scaring two of the most durable people in the story
but despite the speed of those techniques , I saw luffy's g4 form still get rag-dolled till he started getting better with observation.
zoro needs that first and foremost imo.
Elder Lee HungWe need more of an explanation I suppose lol. But I’m not sure I’d call Zoro’s slashes “AOE”, they’re just powerful linear attacks. Ichiji blew Katakuri in half so we know that he can dodge attacks that encompass more area on his body than just fists lol.
