If it really is oden we might see a revenge fight Oden vs kaido and maybe oden beeing helped by someone like maybe yamato the Oden wanna be and potently them taking down Kaido while luffy continues his fight against big mom

We've already seen Kaido shitting himself with Linlin too from a mid tier move from Zoro. Zoro will at the very least reopen the wound, probably go above that too. There's ways of Oda showing that Zoro could have indeed killed Kaido without him actually killing him. So yeah I am not sure about it. What I am sure is that Zoro is poised for many great things up there, many many more than the fridge magnet and Law.

@Nidai_Kitetsu I wouldn't put it past it being a combo. There's also a scenario of Luffy proving himself against Kaido indubitably, in which Luffy might beat him up after he was really injured and Kaido sets off to fly away where Zoro could fully replicate the Ryuma feat.

@Nidai_Kitetsu I want to avoid absolutes regarding this. There is the slight chance Oda doesn't go for it, as it is a massive departure from what he normally does. Oda could conclude that leaving a nasty blow on Kaido which helps Luffy to ultimately beat him is enough. However, the mounting evidence in favor of Zoro killing Kaido cannot be ignored.

@Nidai_Kitetsu: I think the final blow should be a Hiryuu Kaen that is actually successful to replicate Ryuma's legend.
However, I can't deny that there is a solid case to be made in favour of Luffy landing the final blow (as he traditionally does).

@Nidai_Kitetsu : Well I’m not so sure , given how fight at the rooftop is ongoing the focus is divided between the 5 SN’s with Luffy leading the pack , followed by Zoro and the the rest . There is even the panel of Kaido comparing Luffy with the other bonafide top tiers which portrays him to be the main guy that fight .

The argument could also be made with Zoro with the Ryuma parallel which has been highlighted by @Cinera in his posts but imo the odds as of now favor Luffy a bit more , but I wouldn’t be surprised if Oda switches the pattern ( just like he did when they defeated Captain Morgan ) .

@worst pirate just gonna say that comment on luffy from kaido when you look at the full page Is about luffys growth to his peak. Kaido starts talking about how weak he was in kuri and thinks how high will his ceiling go. That's all well and good but that's not this arc. Luffy won't be Roger beard levels this fight.

As for zoro not only the ryuma and odens will in enma stuff he also has kaidos own words in 993 about a monster samurai like oden all of which is set up for this fight.

@Nidai_Kitetsu maybe. Luffy 100% is the one that beats hybrid Kaido in a fight. For ZKK it’ll then need to be some sort of Zoan awakened Kaido that just keeps going regardless of the beatdown he gets from Luffy so Zoro needs to kill him or there’s no end.

The main thing I need to see to update in favour of ZKK are:

* Kaido acknowledging Zoro as a Samurai on par with or one that exceeds Oden

* Kaido expressing the sentiment that if it's Zoro, he could do "it" (where "it" is giving Kaido the death he seems)
