@Kiwipom yup! As of now we are safe. The highest probability of an asteroid hitting earth stands for only 3 asteroid - two around 2185 and one around 2880(this one is more than a kms in size)

The crater created by it in Yucatan region is of around 150 kms in size.. That's massive

Yeah it's massive , and i just checked Wikipedia and it said the Asteroid that created Yucatan crater could have been anywhere from 11 KM to 81 KM in Diameter

I wonder if Panspermia applied to that asteroid and new forms of life were transported to Earth and it was the medium for the process. Have always been curious about it.
