Is Kaido's Devil Fruit Admiral Class or Top Commander Class?
What about Linlin's? Does knock off elemental abilities compare to the likes of the Admirals Logia or Issho's Gravity?
What would be the most powerful Zoan? Would it really be able to compare with the Gura and Yami?

I wouldn’t put the Yami or the Gura at top tier. They have destructive power but lack the versatility and utility of other fruits like Admiral Logias, Fuji’s fruit, Kuma’s fruit, Law’s fruit, Enel’s, etc..

I would consider Kaido's fruit SS - strongest fruit of its class. Even CP0 was glad this DF turned out to be a failure, for how strong it is. Giving Kaido the reputation of the strongest creature, something you virtually can't kill/defeat. Monstrous durability, recovery, physical strength, flight, elemental attacks. Able to lift entire islands. Though the top class logias aren't any weaker than Dragon or Gura fruit

The Yami has as many strengths as it does weaknesses, which doesn’t to me seem like an S+ fruit. The Gura is just offense and nothing else, so maybe S Tier but not S+.

Goro Goro no Mi + C3 admiral fruits are among the most powerful. I think Magu > Gura. But Gura of course is the strongest of its class.

@Fleet Admiral Lee Hung: I personally agree, but in universe lore is that the Yami is the strongest logia and the Gura the strongest paramecia. I'm really not fond of denying such statements and portrayal.

@comrade: I think Kaido's fruit is a really powerful Zoan (at least of a higher class than Marco's), but I can't consider S+ yet. All the S+ have been on panel stated to be the strongest of their class. If Kaido's fruit receives such portrayal in future, I'll bump it, but for now, I think S is fair for it.

@Cinera I mean if you take those statements super literally that’s fine, I don’t really. The Yami Yami is a really disappointing fruit to be called the strongest so far. I’m sure we’ll see more abilities from it in the future though.

@Fleet Admiral Lee Hung: I agree. I downgraded the "strongest in each class" to S+ instead of "SS" as I don't think they have much that places them above the Admiral Class beyond verse lore.

The Gura was stated to be the strongest paramecia by Oda himself, while the Yami was said to be the strongest by Blackbeard. And strongest has different definitions based on the use cases. For BB, the Yami was the strongest mainly because it can nullify other DFs and absorb them (which was especially attractive for BB who can have more than one DF.

Also note how Oda said that the Gura as the strongest paramacia is "no weaker" than Logias. He compares them thus to logias. Akainu's DF is stronger for how lethal it is. When raged WB hit Akainu into the head, he got a head bleed. Same his from Akainu and WB's head is off. Extremely lethal, and destructive (even in base but especially with awakening, that alters the climate and landscape in the process).
