Or "this is the power of the Strongest Creature in the world...!!" Though this could come from Editor , idk .

But IIRC in VIZ translation this wasn't present

But yeah it is weird that "people say" or "is said to be" is often following his WSC title everytime if got mentioned

If he really is the Strongest Creature then those parts aren't necessary , seems like Oda is not completely sold on him being the strongest , idk

There could be, but so far Oda chose not to include it at all, meaning he is probably preparing something, we need to wait more to be sure. So far it is only a rumor, that is slowly fading.

Yeah for me it is fading too after Oden revealed to give that big scar to him , Oden is someone who Zoro probably will surpass this arc , while still not being on Mihawk's level , who is on the same level as Akainu

I can see Oden's attack cutting at least half his upper neck ( the thinnest part of Kaido's body ) , that will almost kill him or incapacitate him .

Enma attack must be hell , Luffy's scar that got in touch with Akainu's Magma Punch was flat ( though Jinbe was hindering Akainu )

If Oden coud do that i can see Mihawk and Akainu doing more

I always argued that Kaido isn't 4he strongest character in op verse.

Oda won't portray someone like this way before the final arcs. As each arc progresses, protagonist faces stronger opponent with strongest at the last.

Also, his title is more about being impossible to kill due to tough skin than him being strongest character

Yeah even if Kaido is indeed the strongest , i don't see him on his own level , after Big Mom equalled him for 3 days
