Yep, Lord Gwyn is one of the strongest Dark Souls characters ever, the feats are freaking incredible.
Also, Soul of Cinder was powerful enough to distort the whole space of the world which is an insane feat. If I recall, he did this shit merely being present.

I used to wonder how the player character can beat the lord of cinders but then I remembered the bonfire respawning. As long you maintain humanity, the boss gets worn down overtime. That's so cheap...

@Van Nameless King, Soul of Cinder, and every single Arch Dragon minus Seath are more powerful than Gwyn. Also, the Furtive Pygmy and Gael are debatably more powerful than Gwyn.
