Thats exactly it man, I was actually hyped for Usopp too post TS but now I am so sad for him. His CoO awakening was so good too.

I wanted to see Usopp vs Mont D'Or tbh and maybe Kanjuro from the Beast Pirates/Orochi side. We haven't had an actual sniper battle for Usopp too right?

if I'm correct he only had 2 1v1's with perona and that fishman in Arlongpark.

instead that he has just been an assist as a sniper..

even a clutch soge king moment would do.. the war hasn't ended so I'm keeping my hopes up

Yeah that sounds right, I actually can't remember anything else although he did fight Mr 4 and Miss Merry Christmas and that one fishman, Chew I think? I can't remember what he did at Skypeia much, who he fought or anything?

He definitely has been more of an assist as you said and OMFG, Enies Lobby was PEAK Usopp imo, between him saving Robin with his incredible sniping then and the legendary Sogeking,

it was legit peak fiction for me! I've yearned for Sogeking to return for absolutely ages and when he did at Thriller Bark, that made me so much happier naturally! Didn't expect it then!

Sogeking returning now would be so amazing and given Oda has still made Usopp so "cowardly" and vulnerable despite how much he truly trained, worked hard and had to survive for his life, I wouldn't be so mad if Sogeking returned

I actually wanted Usopp vs Big Mom as a showcase of his themes of being a brave warrior of the sea, overcoming his fear and not being "cowardly" and avoiding confrontration too and Big Mom stealing life via fear and keeping people from rebelling, escaping, challenging etc her out of fear too. Plus with both being associated with Elbaf a lot too naturally, Usopp vs her could lead him into strolling into Elbaf even

more as a hero to them too potentially, not just because of the giants he's met so far and helped especially Hajrudin who seems him now as "God Usopp" and has joined the Grand Fleet and brought even more awesome giants along too especially Gerd, best girl!

I really hope Oda wont fuck up Elbaf for Usopp, it needs to be the Shanks arc too so we can get Usopp and Yasopp there too naturally, Usopp being based on Aesop

I think Green Bull might have the plant fruit or at least energy fruit or something, but if he has the plant fruit, I can see him summoning beanstalks easily and controlling them too and making Hashirama size forests and even similar giant wood sculptures. (I associate wood as part of plant powers)

Also I really want to see Usopp meet and learn from master

(ideally dwarven but also giant ofc) blacksmithers like the one from Greek Mythology for Zeus too, a focus of COA this arc especially for sniping and ranged fighting and Usopp standing on the shoulders of giants literally and beanstalks and sniping from them and also being the one to fight Loki and take him down, who I believe will be the Orochi/one of the main threats of Elbaf too.

I have so much hype for Usopp and especially Elbaf still too somehow as you can see hahaha!

Wano has really deflated and even defeated me, but depending on the size/scale of Elbaf if it does happen too (please dont abandon/skip or fuck up Elbaf Oda) and if its Shanks's arc too as well, it could still be amazing potentially.

Nami, Chopper and especially Usopp deserve so much better on god.

Those are slick ideas.. and dayum when ussop switched to Soge king in TB was such a clutch moment... that was insane just how good that was.. BM and ussop interaction would have been great i mean they came face to face but ussop didn't fight it out

I think Elbaf may have a sky island to it, like Asgard or Jack and the Beanstalk, Elbaf does have a massive beanstalk too ofc. Needs to go somewhere and have some importance.

Yeah for real man, he cant face Yasopp and Auger and also take down an enemy giant without it too. He desperately needs it both for offense and defense.

@solis Completely true, its tone really varies especially in the anime too lately. Its very jarring. The fanservice makes it more awkward and worse too ,especially how forced and emphasised it is in the anime.

Yeah definitely! With him being a sniper and the whole "lies coming true/seeing the future" he does, future sight would be so good for him too. I also wouldnt mind if he got a DF or especially for his Kabuto or so.

Maybe he could learn some agile martial art to help keep him moving, get to higher spots, dodging attacks especially and even countering and fighting at melee range? A DF could help there too ofc.
