also maybe I'm a masochist for this but I really want Sentai to bring back a violent fighting series (probably not possible now since it's considered too 'gory' for Japanese kids today) where I felt like the Sentai/Rangers were legitimately close to dying after taking a shitton of damage against MoTW villains and not just getting 'shoved' or 'pushed away' like they are recently.

Series in mind that really exemplified this 'violence' or 'got hit a lot' imho was Kakuranger (getting borderline raped every episode and their suits slashed/ripped to shreds after getting hit), megaranger (high school kids getting stabbed, thrown through windows, getting their helmets smashed), gingaman (every ranger male/female getting their chest/breasts stomped on by villains almost every episode)

and ofc Kamen Rider still has its fair share of violence/death, though not as much as since Ryuki where every rider in the show died at the end (before it was 'reset' by a God basically)

btw in Geats, the older sister of KR Tycoon (Tanuki) is the IRL older sister (Nene Shida) of Oni Sister in Donbrother (Kohaku Shida)
