Thing is you have to consider that the GGF is more important than physical strength, else someone like Houken would squash both Moubu and Kanmei. Moubu is still a great general but Renpa and Ouki reached a different level of glory, so until Moubu is the hero of his time I don’t see him winning this, at least this is how the manga works.

Y’all are really hardcore sleeping on Moubu lol, Kanmei had the Weight of a Great General (explicitly stated), had over 100 victories across every state with NO LOSSES, and Moubu still defeated him. How many characters in Kingdom can say that actually beat someone with Weight 1v1?

I mean Moubu defeated Kanmei in very particular circumstances. Kanmei was busy dicing Mouten and Moubu just went bonkers, similar to Whitebeard tanking Meigou and splitting the island with Akainu lol
So as far as I'm concerned Moubu is still Kanmei level, and that still doesn't qualify him to overpower legends like Renpa and Ouki, GG who dictated the course of battle throughout China.

Renpa defeating Kanmei 1v1 is not likely man lol, Kanmei was a giant undefeated warrior with the weight of a GG, Renpa isn’t beating that 1v1 lol

Definitely, but Kanmei isn’t beating Renpa either. Kanmei is physically stronger but Renpa’s legend holds more weight.

As a veteran Renpa wanker, i would still say 1v1 current Moubu wins with high diff lol. He must have grown stronger since the coalition invasion.
In war where Renpa has all the 4HK the Moubu Army gets curbstomped though lol. It took the brilliance of 2 future 6GG Ousen and Kanki plus the Shin/Ouhon/Mouten coordinated attack to defeat the Wei, even then Renpa almost killed Mougou and obliterated the Qin HQ.

@Blackbeard Renpa was truly unfortunate during Sanyou, like he was against two Qin 6, the 2 most cunning at that, and not that he almost killed Mogou but he actually could, Rinboku closed in on HQ and all they needed was a couple seconds to clean up Mougou and his henchmen, but again that would be disadvantageous overall as Ousen had him by the balls from the get go lol

Renpa's battlefield feats are unbelievable.
- Defeated a Great General that prepared to fight him for 40 years.
- Defeated another Great General who was Zhao's no. 2 and one that studied his warfare for a long time, in a 8000 vs 50,000 battle.
- Stalemated Hakuki and Ouki for 2 years at Chouhei.
- Outplayed Ousen by predicting the Wei Di trap.

In an RNG battle simulator Renpa will come out as the most successful general easily, only Gakuki can potentially overshadow Renpa.

In plains warfare, Renpa may as well be the goat. In grand scale strategy and 1v1s however, it is a different story. He is mid top tier in strategy and martial prowess but there are stronger top tiers than him in each regard
