He's obviously a genius, but it was still obvious. Thought it was a joke till I saw old posts about people being surprised when they first found out lol

Also, Hi!!

I actually never met someone in italy who watched the movie and knew it was the same actor xD

So it's not so weird i guess :V

How many people here do you think have even SEEN Austin Powers? Lotta motherfuckers in this place a) seem to only consume anime/manga, and b) are not old enough to recognize those movies for the cultural touchstones they are to old farts like us 😁

I’m still holding out for a 4th movie

This reminds of a joke in Baby Driver. They ask the guy to buy Mike Myers masks for the robbery, the dude buys a bunch of Austin Powers masks, but they wanted Mike Myers the character from Halloween lol

@Worst Get used to that feeling, it’s only gonna keep growing…also, @TheAncientCenturion having a good opinion is always fun, but that fourth movie isn’t ever gonna materialize, the moment has long passed 😭

@TheAncientCenturion a 4th one was actually planned but Mike Myers lost all motivation when Verne Troyer(mini me) passed away

Yep, seems like he suicided :(

I looked it up and yeah it was suicide by alcohol by suicide intoxication. Apparently he was severely depressed too.
He may have been suffering from cancer for a year too if I'm not mistaken.

I loved the Austin Powers films, they influenced me a lot growing up and Verne was wonderful. So sad how such great people go out in such horrible and usually premature ways/ too soon.

I always wanted an AP4 but it's 100%

understandable why Mike doesn't wanna do it too. Mike is also a great man, fantastic actor and national treasure like Jim Carrey and the late, legendary Robin Williams (his situation being a prime example of good people suffering greatly and dying horribly too unfortunately) and given how iconic a role Verne's Mini Me and beloved too, it can't be Austin Powers without him, it would be like Pokemon without Ash as

There goes another one of the greats to suicide, joining the list alongside Robin Williams and Chester Bennington.

The MC anymore, OH WAIT!

But yeah, Verne's death is completely tragic and messed up. I hope he's found peace now instead, that he's happier and not suffering anymore.

I got to meet Warwick Davies in person once and he was wonderful, a truly great man. Sadly I'll never get to meet the likes of Verne and Robin and thank them for being who they are and what they've done for us.

I just hope there's a heaven out there for them and maybe if I'm not going to Hell somehow, I'll be able to meet them there too and thank them lol.

@DoctorIndigo Exactly man. When I found about Chester, i pretty much let out a primal scream and cried for days.
His death and especially why he died was traumatic. Straight after Chris Cornell too and not that long before Delores of The Cranberries too.

I know im

Being self centered/all about me but when Chester died, I felt like I failed him too, he kept me going through most of my life of being suicidal myself and then ironically that's how he goes out too.
Obviously Linkin Park wasn't just him ofc but it's not the same without one of the greatest frontmen/singers ever either. People said he was an angel who could scream like the devil and its true.
He was kind, humble,
G

Sincere etc but his story came to an end in one of the worst ways possible too.

Sorry getting quite morbid here but I take death very seriously too.

Unfortunately Chester spent his entire life suffering over the child abuse that was done to him, fucking sucks. I personally don't believe in Heaven / Hell, so i'm just glad he is free from those looping memories and thoughts. Have some rest.

Yeah I knew a guy in a similar situation to Chester, even looked and acted like him weirdly enough. He once broke down in tears over VC and wanted to off himself, it took us hours to calm him down. All his trauma came out suddenly.

I myself was also abused multiple times from a young age so I could relate too but nowhere near as badly as they were.
