I didn't say you hate Kata, but "hate on" him. There's a difference, I wasn't talking about your affect towards Katakuri, but merely your public statements regarding him.

Well I coulda been nicer but looks like a bunch of people agree with me too.
Does Katakuri really have qualities of a king? Ambitions? A larger than life personality? Immense will power?

As good as Katakuri is, it just isn't fitting for him

Katakuri is much more fitting than Chinjao.

He was supposed to be invincible and the epitome of perfection. It wouldn't really have made sense for him not to have COC.

COC mainly serves as an indication of potential, and the entire myth about Katakuri wouldn't have held if he didn't have the innate qualities to be a King.

Besides, Katakuri was a major opponent for Luffy, him lacking COC would have detracted from their fight IMO.

@ZenZu the above is why I found Kata's possession of COC fitting. I don't really see how it could have credibly been any other way.

Katakuri definitely does have the qualities of a King. Ever since being introduced, he has been portrayed as the backbone of the BMPs. Not the captain, but her own son. When he was defeated, they literally could not believe it. Furthermore, he's been looked up to by the entire family, if not practically worshipped.

The man IS the Big Mom Pirates. He deserves CoC a lot more than Linlin.
