However, Santoryu Zoro couldn't have handled Doffy with awakening. Controlling the environment, attacking from everywhere and anywhere, being able to restrict him and compromise his footing, etc would have handed Doffy the win.

However, note that I rate DR Santoryu Zoro pretty highly. It isn't unimaginable to me that he could eke out a win against the likes of Cracker or Jack.

Kuzan had no reason to hold back against Doffy either. He was no longer a marine, so there wasn't anything staying his hand.

How did doffy fare better? Jozu fought in a war setting and held his own until wb had a heart attack.

Doffy can't block Santoryu Zoro's attacks either, yet he still wins.

Luffy wasn't in the best condition either, but Doffy was way more fucked up. He had withstood a Counter Shock, Injection Shot, Red Hawk, multiple other G2 attacks and a Gamma Knife (intended to be a OHKO technique).

Gamma Knife alone should be several times more damage than what Luffy had withstood till then.

Cracker may have superior AP to some of Doffy's normal attacks, but even Kata's AP was inferior to Boundman.

God Thread: 16 Holy Bullets was Doffy's strongest shown attack, and it might be superior to Cracker's AP.

It took g4 to break the biscuit soldier doffy doesnt come close to that. Reinforced with haki i dont see doffy breaking it. Besides im sure he can make more than just soldiers. And an endless supply of them.

Either way, Doffy can still effectively restrain/immobilise Cracker via his awakening.

I think I'll wait to see Zoro's all out before making a call on whether DR Zoro can beat Doffy.

Why would Kuzan hold back against Doffy? It's not like other characters have been able to escape Kuzan's freezing by themselves either. Apart from Doffy, WB is the only other character to do it.

Even with zoro he can do high end slashes with ease like when he was slicing the golem. The awakeneing will just be sliced.
As for cracker its gonna take doffys strongest move to maybe deal with a soldier and cracker can make an endless supply of them hide in one as he closes the gap and finish him.
