@Reborn "With all that money invested" oh brotha, where do I even begin. Non united fans that don't follow the club day to day can't comprehend how the Glazers are shit owners when having the highest net spend in the league. It's too complicated to explain, but they're not actually spending all this money. They're taking debts against players as assets.

They miss out on legitimate sporting options cause smart players chose not to come, so they panic, extend the club's credit account, buy average players for the same money they were gonna spend on their 1st choice targets. Fucking clowns. That's an oversimplification, but there's so much shit that they do with agents/sponsors/PR etc... that actually over inflates how much we spend for mediocrity
