Yep, I would also recommend not playing Nioh 2 if you’re not willing to commit a lot of time to learning the combat. I’m not lying when I say it feels like it took me 40-50 hours before I fully started to “get” it. The stats, loot, skill trees, etc are incredibly convoluted

The surge is a bad video game

I think the LoP DLC is going to come out a decent bit later than SOTE so neowiz has nothing to worry about

i searched top of all time on the lords of the fallen subreddit and most of it is calling out the devs lol

the second Elden Ring DLC: Dung Eater of the Abyss will overshadow it jk

Ok this might sound a bit sadistic/evil but hear me out. My number 1 wish for the Elden Ring DLC is for Miquella (assuming he’s a boss) to counter spirit summons by either putting them to sleep or bewitching them to attack you (both of which should be in his ability set). That would instantly gate keep half the player base and be hillarious.
TheKnightOfTheSea

that would be hilarious
TheKnightOfTheSea

though if Miquella is harder than Malenia I would have to summon a real player because i would not have defeated Malenia without Tiche lol

only boss outside of Quelaag I used summons for.

I did a summon on my first DS1 run for her and now i do it every run out of tradition

The nice thing with Elden Ring is that bosses are pretty predictable based on their lore. IE Radahn uses gravity magic, Mohg uses blood, Malenia uses rot, Radagon uses faith spell, Rennala uses sorceries, Maliketh uses destined death, etc all stuff you could guess from their lore

So you can bet on Miquella having mechanics related to either sleep or summoning, and you can bet on Godwyn having either lightning (if this is the young Godwyn that befriended the dragons) or death blight (if this is current Godwyn) as a mechanic. If they’re bosses of course

I used summons on the ruins sentinel and lud and zallen on first playthrough, same with GS duo and other trash ganks
TheKnightOfTheSea
TheKnightOfTheSea
oh yeah I used spirit ashes on the Godskin Duo and Gargoyle, but I tried to do it solo on all main/rememberance bosses.

Ruin Sentinels was easy first run for me outside of that one damned attack(i think it was a spin attack).

a sleep based boss sounds pretty lame.

>Godwyn having either lightning (if this is the young Godwyn that befriended the dragons
That would make him too similar to the Nameless King

Have you played any Kingdom Hearts games?

Kingdom Hearts 3 dlc added 14 superbosses that I think you would enjoy fighting(a majority at least)>

Yeah I’m not entirely sure how sleep would be used, maybe a build up on attacks like Malenia’s rot in phase 2? Or maybe clouds of mist like the death light in the Lichdragon fight?

unless they make it a gimmick fight, I can't see a way they could make a sleep based boss good.

a summoner boss is more likely unless they really make the most hyped up demigod a gimmick boss

I’ve actually seen Kingdom hearts come up in a lot of boss discussions. Maybe I’ll check it out at some point, but for me trying new game series is an if I have the free time/money thing

I’m trying to think, aside from sleep I think the only other major status effect not invoked in a remembrance boss is madness right?
TheKnightOfTheSea
TheKnightOfTheSea
i believe that's right.

maybe we'll fight a frenzied flame associated boss in the dlc?
