People disagree on where to place Pica. A lot of the disagreement is legitimate.

The problem is that Pica's power is very situationnal due to the nature of his df, and that some people use him as a way to wank either Doflamingo or Zoro and use irrationnal arguments to support their cause. That's why the Pica threads were closed both on OJ and on this forum.

And a lot of people downplay Pica very heavily. Sure Pica's threat to high tiers is very situational, but even without his DF, his swordsmanship, physical strength and haki make him one of the stronger mid tiers.
Many people claim Pica is low veteran level even with his DF, when only YC level characters (and not even all of them) could defeat him in Dressrosa.

Again, the disagreement is legitimate. People actually legitimately believe that Pica with his golem might beat the likes of Cracker and at the very least would not lose to him.
I don't think Pica is YC 2 like nik87 says, but I do believe that in Dressrosa he was a high tier threat.

Anyway, the previous thread was locked because Bogard and co perceived it to be one sided. I don't think it was, and many others were legitimately arguing in Pica's favour, but whatever.

If Zoro didn't fought Pica then he wouldn't be wanked this hard, that's the main reason why some people wank Pica is because of Zoro.

Honnestly Pica was more of a threat to weaker individuals, against the really strong characters in Dressrosa he was more of a nuisance than a threat. Against YC like Ace, Cracker, Jozu, Jack or Vista he would have been more of an annoyance than a threat. The stone he assimilates is easy to break or cut and his quicker and more surpising attacks are not strong enough to inflict much damage on strong individuals.

His stronger attacks are slow and easy to see coming and the real difficulty for Zoro in their fight was to find his real body to defeat him.
