From a powerscaling perspective, a half ass Kizaru did even better than I originally expected (clowning Snakeman, outlasting G5) but the issue is he didn't get to actually fight, it was stallpiece, and I hate the fact that this is the last time Kizaru will get focus and it was only stallpiece. I'm not worried about his placement in the powerscale, more worried Oda will never show him going all out due to plot.

Nah I originally had Kizaru losing to G4 Snakeman, thought it would be the surefire counter to him, and G5 would not be necessary. I'm on record saying this. Now after his half assed performance bodying Snakeman and taking G5 to pure exhaustion, there's no way I'm thinking Luffy can beat an all out Kizaru. My mind was completely changed after egghead events.

The reason I thought that was because Kaidou was getting his ass kicked by g2/3 Luffy and had to drink to compete, so I figured with FS + Snakeman there is no way Kizaru doesn't get packed up, it's THE perfect counter to him. Idk what Oda was thinking making Kizaru babyshake that mode. Now I'm wondering which top tiers stand a chance against Kizaru fr if FS + Snakeman ain't enough to break a sweat.

What clown takes? Stop the bs generalized statements. Kizaru was half assing and showed he can beat Luffy. If you expected more than that, than you had a higher opinion of Kizaru than I did entering this arc. I'm not mixing up plot with powerscale, these are two separate things. From a powerscaling perspective Kizaru has surpassed my expectations (if he can do this well holding back).

I will only be disappointed with 2 things.
1.With Oda for not allowing us to see his full arsenal and full power (Awakening or w.e)
2.With Kizaru if he keeps moping, I will not fuck with his character any longer if he just cries the entire time after killing VP. I literally couldn't care about power scaling, cause he's surpassed where I had him before this arc, which was below Luffy. Now I place Kizaru above Luffy

Stop lying. You definitely didnt have him at Katakuri level before Egghead (weaker than G4 snakeman). Your first comment "facts" here already shows he didnt surpass your expectations.

My first comment was talking about it being Borsalinover, because of 2 things.
1.For me personally as a character he will drop significantly, I didn't like Kizaru because he's some emotional character, I liked him for the bastard he was.
2.He is cooked in casual discussions.
He did not put up a memorable performance at all, it was ass.

However, the above is for casual viewing, for hardcore powerscaling he DID surpass my expectations because I had Luffy>=Kizaru prior to this arc. Now I have it the other way around. This is for anyone who cares to understand how ridiculous Snakeman + FS is supposed to be, and how strong Luffy is outside of G5.
