I have scadutree 13 and I've only gotten him to phase 2 once

I think experiences on these bosses vary greatly by builds and individual strengths etc. @Uncle Van beat Rellana on his second attempt but she took me two hours of attempts to beat. I beat Bayle as my 3rd DLC boss whereas I’ve seen others say they fought him last and he was the hardest lol.

Everybody has different experiences I guess.

Oh yeah completely, I got him first try. I wasn't trying to look down on anyone etc. I apologies if it came across that way. Relanna was a pain for me lol, She's still my hardest boss of the DLC by far. I have still yet to fight Mesmer, Commander Giaus, Midra etc.

I use either Moon veil or moonlight great sword so Rellana was a nightmare for me

Messmer seems hard but learnable

I had to use my Mimic tear and Leda to get Relanna lol.
I am looking forward to Messmer! I am going to start exploring the Shadow keep tonight!

Messmer's aggression is so unforgiving that it made 1st phase Radagon actually look peaceful to me, and his pattern is painful to grasp.

In second phase, on top of that relentless aggression, he receives unlimited range to unleash that serpent aggression upon your ass even of you left the whole battlefield. The fucking hippo at least had to close the distance.

To me Rellana was harder than Messmer which tells me she isn’t quite tuned the way she’s intended because she should not be harder than Messmer. Messmer was solidly difficult. Bayle was extreme, in a good way.

Messmer isn't really bullshit in my experience
Except for like one attack in phase 2.

Phase 1 is really good imo

Rellana has too many strong unreactable attacks. For example she has that one retreating blue flying slash move in phase 2 at the end of combos. Shit is straight unreachable and was dealing like 50% of my heavy armored characters health lol. She also has that one 5 blue slash combo and some of the attacks toward the end can be undodgeable and deal big damage.

Messmer didn’t have any unreactables that I could see.

I’m pretty sure Rellana is supposed to be a demigod level threat so she shouldn’t be easy, but she should not be harder than Messmer.

Her input reading also feels different

You can't heal unless she's actually finished her combo and even then you can't attack once you've healed.
