oh i'm not saying it might not be the reason as you pointed out he's lost it before but usually luffy himself states it and this sound more like he just simply ran out of strength which is understandable beause of who he is fighting but until i see the actual chapter it's all just speculation...

I'll have to see the actual panels and chapter but to me it seems like this whole 'lost his haki' is another assumption by the spoiler provider based on luffy losing his strength I mean losing your strength doesn't necessarily mean you've lost your haki
