Idk if it has been stated before but I think York is the traitor. She is greed after all and she is also the only Vegapunk that hasn't been with the others as well as hasn't had very many speaking lines. If anyone else has been saying this then shout out to you peeps. Just wanted to get my...
I miss the days where One Piece wasn't popular in the west and there weren't tens of thousands of idiots running around talking about "No one valued Big Mom as an antagonist" "Dressrosa doesn't deserve the hate" "You're a hater if you dislike Fishman Island".
Unless you have been reading...
I disagree a bit. I think it's the lack of showing Luffy's progression in small ways. There are plenty of series that show progression better than One Piece and still have the MC be caught up in gags
I guess all I'm asking for is to see Luffy get treated more like how Shin from Kingdom is treated as the series progresses. Enemy generals still try to downplay him, he doesn't say anything he kills them and now people recognize that and treat him with more respect and caution.
Batman, Gazelle, and some others. I think what took the cake for me was the Kaido one shot. And it wasn't because Luffy got one shot, it was because I knew it was just bullshit to get Luffy away from everyone else. Later on we see a broken bodied zoro and Law take the same hit from hybrid Kaido...
Having rewatched and reread the entire series last year you can tell that there was a shift during Wano. Luffy started doing things he never did before (tearing up at Oden's backstory) struggling with fodder after taking on an army at WCI. Oda forgot who Luffy is. Oda also seems to forget that...
Don't even remind me. Oda took Luffy who at the beginning of the time skip was one shotting a pacifista and taking down a giant whilst tied up to struggling with fodder. This is the exact shit that made me step away from the series during Wano.
I don't know if this was posted before but here goes: Most of Wano was a waste of time and not interesting at all, it was by far the worst arc in the series and is the first arc that caused me to take a break away from the series. The Red Scabbards were annoying and are barely above fodder level...
A lot of people getting salty for the Sanji bounty* and I'm over here feeling awful for mah boi Franky. Put in the work and Oda decided to screw him over.
