in terms of combat only: end of 1036 + 1037 + end of 1041 + 1042 = 7-8/10 the rest is average 4-5/10. the dialogue was pretty bad. overall 7/10.

i believe that authors have to respect the readers' intelligence, i also believe that they have the right to run their series into the dirt if they wanted to. i don't predict (that's headcanon territory), because i always assume the worse in authors to spare myself potential disappointment...

how? the paramecia to zoan retcon was random as hell, it's not even explained, it literally "just works". and nika was mentioned once in the whole series in chapter 1018, in the vaguest way possible. literally 16 chapter between the first hint and the final reveal, with zero build up whatsoever.

the difference is that zoro declared it as loud as he can in front of everybody on the live floor, mentioning kaido by name and reputation. we never saw zoro change his goal. he never said anything about wanting to cut king into pieces, he just recovered, found everyone getting low diffed, and...

it never happens, especially when the person is as heavily injure as zoro was. big mom didn't do anything. kaido just hid himself in the flames and expected luffy's fist to melt before hitting him like a coward. hell, kaido even had to make sure that big mom was physically fit to perform hakai...

it's a waste of mental effort to question the narrative reasoning behind anything oda did in wano. oda has been doing things on a whim lately.

an expected response from an oda dickrider, there's more narrative build up for ZKK than G5 ever got, but you'll ignore all the build up, and discard the theory simply because "ZorO Is nOT thE mAIn CHAracTeR", and in the same time praise the nika retcon as peak writing. luffytard should keep...

we still have no clue how hiyori got to onigashima. a mere sword is nothing in comparison.

it's not a matter of powerscaling any more, but rather a mater of execution and pay off. the hints, parallels and the build up are there, and zoro is officially powerful enough to one shot dragons. the rest is in oda's hands, but i have no faith in that clown's writing ability.
