Exactly. Don’t forget the fact that it basically only lasted a single chapter which consisted of them running around for 50% of it and ended with them “KOing” each other in the lamest and most anti-climactic way possible

Luffy vs Kizaru is by far one of the worst fights in One Piece, it’s insane how much Oda fumbled Luffy’s first fight against an admiral and our first admiral vs yonko fight :gokulaugh:

That’s just extremely bad writing and shit pacing. If he wanted Luffy and Kizaru out of the way he could’ve easily just had them fight somewhere else on the island, instead he decided to give us more of his signature fake tension so Luffy could once again steal the spotlight and save the day.

If he didn’t want to do that then he should’ve never made it a draw to begin with, it served no purpose and dragging it out like this is shit pacing and more fake tension.

Usopp unlocks CoO 5 arcs ago: doesn’t even get mentioned or brought up Luffy in the meantime: gets FS, gets ACoA, gets ACoC, Awakens his devil fruit, and gets a new gear

Exactly. It’s getting annoying and it’s genuinely making me start to hate Luffy, I get he’s the MC but none of the other Straw Hats get to do ANYTHING anymore

No one wanted Sanji to beat Kizaru, we at least wanted Sanji to clash with him and stall him or something. There’s a big difference

This is reminding of WCI where Luffy got to fight Cracker, the enraged army, and Katakuri and Sanji didn’t get to fight anybody :lawsigh:

I genuinely hope Kizaru or Saturn beats the shit out of Luffy, Oda having Luffy be the only straw hats who gets to do anything important is pissing me off now

It’s not just about Kizaru, literally 80% of the straw hats are offscreen standing around doing nothing while a buster call is happening. This is supposed to be a Yonko crew, but Oda is making them look pathetic since Luffy (and Sanji to an extent) the only one actively doing anything useful.

Exactly. It’s getting to the point where I’m actually starting to dislike Luffy, Oda needs to let other characters shine for once
