Just in case you still can't read, I'll do you a favour and spell it out for you: Kaido was afraid of the attack, thus he evades the attack, doesn't even try to take it, thus the attack missed, resulting in cutting of the giant horn.

After all the countless attacks that he faced and took, Kaido still afraid of Zoro's attack and choose to avoid it completely, while BM who's a fellow Yonko also acknowledged just how dangerous the attack is going to be.... You just can't take any chances with Zoro... :steef:
