Observation Haki is a useless ability in the series.
Oda only uses it when he wants to draw a cool scene, and then he forgets it ever existed.
Big Mom isn't shown to use it, but would still defeat Katakuri nonetheless.
It's a useless skill because Oda doesn't use it consistently enough for us...
What's a kid supposed to do against a concentration camp? You act like you can just disobey people when your life is at stake. Like he can just as a kid of single digit age talk anyhow he wants to people who can kill him and his family at any time. Like Kids can just be easily brave when it's...
That is not an update.
That's just a different time.
It's like saying because Roger wore a Strawhat when we first saw him, and then didn't... that Roger never wore a strawhat. It's not an update, it's just a historical fact in the series, he wore a Strawhat just like he used a gun.
I think...
You're right, it was Zoro who said that.
My overall point is there is a distinction between Swordsmen, King said he never understood why people would stick to a school or style in the Viz (and in the TCB King says he doesn't understand why anyone would stick to traditional forms or techniques)...
As to how you know Oda hadn't finished his design, not sure where you sourced that information from.
Who else's design didn't he finish, did he say this?
Is this from the SBS or a magazine?
I'd like to see where you read this from as official fact.
It is still canon if you can't give an...
Didn't say Roger may not be a Swordsman, I said it's possible he's not exclusively dedicated to Swordsmanship like Zoro or Mihawk who only use blades to fight.
We saw him holding a gun in battle, so it is fair to entertain that his style of battle of similar to King who says he is not a pure...
King and Zoro defined what a Swordsman is.
King uses a Sword, but he doesn't identify as a Swordsman, he said that unlike Swordsmen, he is willing to bite his opponent if it will allow him to win.
Laughtale volume also suggests that a Black Blade is not create purely on strength.
Based on...
Spot on.
King and Queen only have higher bounties because they've been Pirates for decades, at least 20 years. They've had a lot more time to commit crimes and get involved in incidents to warrant those bounties.
Sometimes, a lower bounty can make you more dangerous than people with higher...
This has never determined whether bounty changed.
All characters can have bounty increases depending on what they did. There is really nothing special about Hancock's bounty going up.
Not true.
Bounties work the same for eveyone.
The only reason the main character's bounties change so often is because:
They are constantly committing crimes which is pretty much every arc.
Why didn't Robin's bounty change for 20 years since age 8? it's because she didn't commit a crime the WG...
We know that is factually not true because you can compare characters with similar bounties and know they're factually not the same strength.
When Luffy had a bounty of 300m, compare him to other characters with 300m:
Luffy had a 300m bounty pre-skip without Haki - Zoro 320m bounty with Haki...
You're ignoring things that contradict your view.
Bounty can only allow you to make reasonable assumptions about a person. It can't tell you anything factually other than they've committed crimes and been involved in enough incidents to acquire x-amount of bounty.
If you're a home owner...
They don't.
The only reason bounties can be a gag is because they don't reflect strength.
Like I said, is Robin who has a 900m bounty stronger than Cracker (800m), Smoothie (900m)?
Or is she as strong as Katakuri (1.1 billion), Jimbei (1billion), Zoro & Sanji (1 billion)? People actually...
Usopp has a 500m bounty.
At 500m, Ace was strong enough to be the second division commander, he was able to clash with Admirals. Law was able to 1 shot Vergo with a 450m bounty.
Ace was also strong enough to bruise Whitebeard when he had a 500m beri bounty or lower, don't think the same can be...
Bounties don't really have much to do with strength level or how strong a character is,.
Have to ask when a bounty is given... a bounty is ONLY given after a crime is committed or an incident the WG deem threatening occurs. No bounty is given otherwise.
Even when Luffy came from the time-skip...
Chapter 1023 seemingly gives some explanation.
Zoro vs. King, Zoro said King wasn't a Swordsman.
King said he isn't, and he defined what a Swordsman is... a Swordsman is someone who sticks to a traditional style and form in battle in the TCB, whereas the Viz translation for King, he states he's...
Not possible.
There's an SBS of Akainu as a kid who lived in poverty wielding a knife.
If he was a Celestial Dragon, he'd have been born similarly to Joker, in wealth.
Gorosei can't physically go around chasing a kid, they probably sent marine officers and such, and failed.
They probably didn't expect Dof to become a big deal, so they probably won't have thrown all resources on him.
And a National Treasure can be a thing or even a person.
The National...
Haki has never been willpower, otherwise it would not run out.
Willpower is pretty much the choice to do something, continue running a race even when it becomes hard is willpower.
What Rayleigh said to Luffy is that because he has strong willpower, he will not give up on learning Haki no matter...
