I definitely expected a Kaido and Yamato flashback, but this seems just like teaser for a bigger one. Unless that’s literally happening next chapter I fill it be better to just start out act 4 with it.

Maybe, it’s just lame how we blew past the strawhat fights and their back to fighting fodder for now. Too much going on imo.

I really hope we don’t have anymore flashbacks before the act ends.

This makes me think Kaido still has another level he’s yet to show, cause if Yamato is actually matching him at his full strength then I guess the fight will be wrapped up fairly quickly when Luffy gets there.

Are you satisfied with beast pirates performance up to this point?

The thing is back then the consistency might not have been all there, but the tension was at least decent. Now there’s neither and it makes the flaws much more glaring.

Even if spoilers say he was getting overwhelmed, it’s not good portrayal to keep showing king and queen ganging up on people.

So sanji is fighting a yc1/yc2 at the same time and isn't even badly injured? Man, Oda refuses to give the beast pirates any impact in these fights. Too much stalling and set up in this arc for the payoff just to be simple fan service.

Ulti/pg1: showcased zoan durability WsW: interesting back story Sasaki: gags Black Maria: significantly damaged her opponent put all those elements in one fight and it would actually be decent.

It would be pretty cool if queen made some pill or something that induces some kind of artificial awakening for the tobbi roppo. Maybe they take it and go into a berserker mode of sorts. I expect the calamities to all be awakened tho…and possibly who’s who.

I bet Black Marie didn’t connect directly with any significant attacks. Robin is probably in pretty good shape and brook is fighting fodder. Oda really putting kiddy gloves on a yonko crew.

we’ve literally focused non stop in Luffy and momo since he was knocked of the rooftop. Really weird IMO.
