If Zoro went to WCI, Luffy would have fought BM and Zoro Katakuri.
If it went exactly as it went (Luffy vs Kata) then Zoro would have held BM alongside the crew and waited for Luffy to finish.
That's why Zoro didn't go, otherwise Cracker would've been for him and Kata too.
