If you think Roger went there to actually kidnap a woman then I think your opinion on just about everything related to the manga is worthless, with no equivocation.
It's fandom idiocy that takes Roger's first interaction as meant to be literal kidnapping; the interaction doesn't even need be read as that.
They were clearly on good/friendly terms.
Yah it doesn't have any direct comparisons of their fighting panels which is what I was thinking of; I guess I don't see the resemblance but I'll reread Gunko fighting the crew
Buggy has always been relevant and always inevitably had endgame moments in store
Why do people act like that isn't the case; people thinking it's anything new and special has led to these asinine Xebec theories and erasure of the other two cross guild leaders that matter just as much
Hajrudin is a pirate with the dream of surpassing dorry and brogy and the eventual king of all giants
Not king of a specific island that he needs to stay on like you're theorizing Loki fighting them would help him do
Learn to read brother.
Kuzan saved Smoker at the end of Punk Hazard.
Kuzan doesn't have a role in the story or appear again (only gets two brief mentions) until the arc we just finished.
Smoker gets mentioned and shown at the end of the arc after Dressrosa, reflecting on what occured/what he...
Yah not saying a lot of people did but myself (as that thread shows) and others did pick up on the fact that Hajrudin logically would be major focus of Elbaf.
People just downplayed the fleet and got lost in the oneshot.
There's a special sort of stupid to agree with someone saying something shown false by the portrayal and actions of Bartolomeo and Cavendish in Dressrosa itself, when down to the page count Oda kept them equal (Bartolomeo exceeded him whilst sailing to Zuenesha).

What's it like being...
He has to sail with the grand fleet yes it's literally narrator promised, he has Rodo on his crew for that purpose, he literally just raised his Jolly Roger, and his dream is to be *king of all giants* not just Elbaf giants
Base Cavendish is a genius and wasn't seriously pushed/nor went all out once throughout Dressrosa.
He has good speed (blitzing to protect Robin and Law) and attack power (carving up the plateau via flying slash) and intelligence.
The barrier moment isn't a blemish.

Any Holy Knight would be good, preferably and definitely not Shamrock because Loki deserves that runback.
1) Smoker parallels Garp relative to his relationship with Roger and mentality as a Marine.
Smoker was never forgotten or replaced and it's literally/factually non-textual to claim Koby has been given more focus than him.
2) Blackbeard is more clearly more the final villain than Imu and people...
