As cocky as he is SSJ is mighty warrior and a brave leader he is easily one of the top generals of Zhao but gets sidelined because he’s always put at Riboku’s side.

DUKE was portrayed as superior commander in a straight battle. And yes, Bannaji is strong and SSJ is badass but so are Duke and his raged mode soldiers.
