Gaming isn't even a kid's things anymore, it's only for those who can afford it. I remember being in elementary when pretty much everyone had a DS, even ps2/3 games used to cost €50 at most where I lived and they were complete upon release.

Prices have gotten way out of hand, especially when you consider that this is a kid's platform.

It wasn't a promotion in the celebration sense though, it was more to fill in the space Kanki and Ousen left behind. The Qin trio were already HK-tier and their promotion was just appropriate at that point.

Makou is underappreciated, man was a legit monster.

I actually don't have a problem with these new generals. They could be former lieutenants, 5K commanders, or acquaintances that aspired to be part of Ousen's army, not that unreasonable when you consider that Ousen has served in the Qin military for decades at this point.

Why not though? Oda significantly progressed the story with Egghead (roughly 70 chapters) and since there should only be two more arcs after Elbaf, Oda could conclude everything in a similar set of chapters per arc. So probably 3/4 more years post-Elbaf.
