He is not the main villain, he is just a weak piece of sh** who happend to be backed up by kaido, once kaido let him down he would lose all his influence, they would still target him nonetheless but he won't be their main focus

It looks like you forgot that Luffy is the main character and it will always be Luffy who delivers the last blow whether the last blow kills his enemy or defeats him, and since when main villains has died in one piece?

Well, op is shonen so oda can't bring things like rape, murder, gore into one piece(hence op is famous and has so many fans) , however there were actually some serious consequences between saboady and the end of marineford just like, luffy losing 20 years of his life, and the scar from akainu...
