I think it pertains to his undercover mission within the sword group. But what if he had a chat with Sanji before returning to Hawkins? Many thought that at the time. Not very likely, but still.
Sanji's panel this chapter is fishy to me. Like BangMi mentioned, what Sanji said should've come with the typical thirsty face, but it didn't. We got a cool shot of him instead, with a curious expression.
In this chapter we got Nami, Usopp and Chopper looking to Sanji to get them through the...
I just can't with Oda anymore...like wtf are you doing man...did you forget how Sanji normally looks like or what??
Sanji's panel time this arc is already fucking scarce, and when he actually appears we get this?? The fuck is wrong with you Oda??
Don't you have a shred of consideration for...
Am I the only one somewhat bothered by the fact that this famine/food waste subplot going on has Luffy(and Zoro) at the center, when it's Sanji's thing?
I guess Oda found it more appropriate to have Sanji bake a huge cake for a childish, spoiled old hag.
I wouldn't worry about Sanji not getting his limelight. Oda fully knows he's off-paneling Sanji the way he does. Which means the more he off-panels him now the more likely that he'll get to shine later. No way a prominent strawhat like Sanji aint getting his due time.
Sanji will prove to be a...
Yeah I get your drift. Though there's is potential for Sanji's emotion-based powers to get evoked here if his friends are put in a life-and-death situation, especially Nami. Maybe he could hang with them for a while and then separate, or vice versa. That's likely what's gonna happen imo.
So Oda puts Sanji with the weakling trio, like I suspected. Who else is gonna protect them.
But we also have the strategic trio Sanji/Nami/Usopp in this group. They should prove a very dangerous component of the assaulting force in that respect(if Oda hasn't forgotten about his own characters...
Haven't read any posts in this thread, but...
Pound being alive is an intentional insult by Oda to readers of OP.
When I read Pound's "death" scene I got the feels. Now Oda mocks me for having felt something about a thing that didn't actually take place.
And no, it's not on me for not...
Lafitte could be a great opponent for Sanji if he's deemed the "brain" of the BB(even tho BB himself is highly intelligent). But it doesn't necessarily have to be him, or any particular character. I just want Sanji to use his wit to save the day, like he used to.
Would give an arm and leg to see Sanji in a battle of wits, where he could shine the most. The "monster trio" will always deem him the "third" no matter what he pulls, because it's strictly a power-level perspective. Oda loves his formulas, it's never gonna change. And it sadly eliminates...
